Bush Administration: Grand Canyon Created by Noah’s Flood

This is getting to the point of unbelievability. Are we on the verge of returning to the dark ages and book burning? I would hope that we could all agree geology utilized science and reason to determine it facts, theories and statements. If we are going to stop and censor science and provide the Christian view point on this, to satisfy that religion - they should be required to provide the view point of the other religions. What about the Muslim, Jewish, Buddist, etc. viewpoints on the Grand Canyon and geology in general. By suppressing scientific statements and promoting only a Christian viewpoint, is the Bush Administration not violating the First Amendment?

justisengard dugg this:

Grand Canyon National Park is not permitted to give an official estimate of the geologic age of its principal feature, due to pressure from Bush administration appointees. Despite promising a prompt review of its approval for a book claiming the Grand Canyon was created by Noah’s flood rather than by geologic forces.
