The War Profiteering Prevention Act of 2007

You mean this is not already a law? You have got to be kidding! So it is legal to defraud the government. Amazing.
Well, let see if we can now pass a law that makes it illegal. I would really like to understand how you can be against this being law. The article states that Senator Leahy tried to get this signed into law back in 2003, but the President and House Republicans got it removed. First, Mr. President and House Republicans - do you mind providing an explanation on why this should not be illegal. Second, why can we not simply have a single bill for a single law and vote on it - not a system where you can tack on appendixes to the original bill that have nothing to do with it.
