The Army Admits to Dumping 64 million pounds of chemicals in our Coast

Munition DumpingWonder what this is doing to all the seafood that we are eating, much less those swimming in the ocean.

justisengard dugg this:

“The Army now admits that it secretly dumped 64 million pounds of nerve and mustard agents into the sea, along with 400,000 chemical-filled bombs, land mines and rockets and more than 500 tons of radioactive waste - either tossed overboard or packed into the holds of scuttled vessels.”

The Daily Show catches Tony Snow Lying

Daily Show - Tony SnowAmazing! It is amazing on several counts.

1) Is Jon Stewart the only person in the country with the balls to reporting this on a regular basis? He hosts a comedy show, not a news show, but the Daily Show is the best place to actually get news. We have 24 hour news networks, but it is the Daily Show that reports it. This is ridiculous!
2) Tony Snow lies. So what?!? Does it actually present Tony Snow with a problem? Does anyone, but Jon Stewart hold him accountable? It is looked at as funny…amusing. What does this say about Americans? ‘Our government’, not Mr. Bush’s government blatantly lies to us, and what happens - nothing. We laugh for a minute, and then go about our business. What does it take?
3) Tony Snow lies, no. It is not just Tony Snow, it is the entire administration.

What will our children say in twenty years when they look back on this?

Bill O’Reilly: Explosions In Iraq Don’t Mean Anything

What an idiot! It amazes me that intelligent Americans actually listen to this man. Maybe someone should read him the definition of journalism from the dictionary. Not that actual journalism is in big supply in this country anymore. If you comment on anything the Bush Administration, excuse me, Bush’s government, does - you are helping the terrorist. Maybe Court Jester Bill and Emperor Bush should read the First Amendment.

justisengard dugg this:

AUDIO: Today on his radio show, Bill O’Reilly defended his lack of Iraq war coverage, stating, “CNN and MSNBC are actually helping the terrorists by reporting useless explosions. Do you care if another bomb went off in Tikrit? Does it mean anything? No! It doesn’t mean anything.”

Stupid People & Fire

Birdboy sent me a link to this first one, which I laughed out loud about. The second one was just a related link via YouTube. Some people should have paid more attention in Chemistry class or simple used some common sense. Oh well…

How NOT to light a bonfire…fire in the hole, indeed.

Steve Jobs & Bill Gates Joint Interview

I can across this on digg. If you work in IT, this is a must see.

Gates & JobsI myself got a lot out of it. One is to be passionate about what you do. The other being more of a realization as to why I was drawn to buy a Macbook Pro for use in my personal life rather than a much cheaper PC with much the same functionality.

The walk back through memory lane with two of the most important icons in the computer industry, is really incredible. For someone who started out with computer programming classes in high school, later moved on to computer science in college, only to dump it for two other completely different majors, because I could not see myself programming for a living - only to passionately come back to the IT industry not long after graduation — it was very interesting mapping happenings in my life to their discussions.

Enjoy….
